Zinfandel (or "Zin", as it is affectionately known in the United States) is a dark-skinned red wine grape variety widely cultivated here in El Dorado County, California. It arrived in the Americas from Europe in the early years of the 19th Century, and was an immediate success in both Napa and Sonoma counties, however, we feel the the ELDO Zin's are really something to behold.
Our wine is deep and brooding with aromas of dark fruits, cloves and licorice. On the palate, it's expansive and dense with dark berries, cocoa and mixed spices. The finish builds and lingers on and on.
